Just put the part in the center, press "Scan" and obtain data covering more than 85% of the visible surface with 1.2 mils accuracy.

The PolyScan 3D scanner has no moving part and uses eye-safe white light scanning. It is the safe, reliable and easy way to perform inspection in a production setting. The PolyScan has a low maintenance cost thanks to its static design that does not wear or necessitate mechanical maintenance.

> Six Satellites Configuration

The PolyScan 3D scanner is made of satellites, the fundamental unit that performs data acquisition. The PolyScan can operate with only one satellite, but their number provides a better coverage for each scan. The PolyScan control software is built to seamlessly handle any number of satellites.

The six satellites configuration offers a good trade-off between price and coverage, flexibility and speed. The amount of coverage for any given scan depends on the complexity of the part. Typically, this configuration provides a coverage of more than 85% of visible surface for low to medium complexity parts.

Multiple scans of the same part are supported if maximum coverage is crucial. Simply turn the part and re-start the scanning process.
